Two CT Cemeteries Added to the National Register of Historic Places

Towers|Golde is pleased to announce the nominations of two Connecticut cemeteries to the National Register of Historic Places: Stonington’s Evergreen Cemetery and the Connecticut Valley Hospital Cemetery in Middletown. The Milford Green was also added to the State Register of Historic Places. We assisted the R. Christopher Goodwin Company researching and analyzing the cultural landscape aspects of these sites, and evaluating their significance for the nominations.

The work was supported by a federal grant from the National Park Service Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
