Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife Headquarters

The field headquarters building for Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife is a designated Zero Net Energy, LEED Platinum building. The new facility serves as Mass Wildlife’s operational headquarters, as well as a center for environmental information and education programs.
T|G’s design objective was to link sustainable land development techniques with Mass Wildlife’s educational and programmatic goals. They created an integrated built environment that enhances the identity of the facility while it advances the public’s understanding of sustainable design, showcasing site development that promotes replenishing storm water technologies, creates diverse habitats, and teaches about indigenous wildlife and plants, including drought-tolerant lawn alternatives.
