‘The Machine in the Garden’ was the seminal image of IBM’s new corporate headquarters. T|G’s sensitive site design, was pivotal to creating the successful realization of that vision:  an extension of the architectural aesthetic into the built landscape of the arrival court, but also an active engagement between the progressive contemporary forms of the building and the rugged forms of the carefully preserved ravine terrain and native vegetation.
