Bucknell University Master Plan
For 70 years the development of Bucknell University followed the 1932 master plan of Jens Larson with remarkable fidelity, but by the turn of this century a new vision was needed to accommodate the growth required by contemporary modes of teaching, current housing needs and program expansions. T|G worked closely with the master planning architects to design the expansion of the original conceptual framework, incorporating newly acquired properties and addressing new opportunities for regional connections and sustainable treatments.

The prime landscape components of the plan are new circulation systems, decorative and sustainable water features, and the creation of a pedestrian core campus system of interlocked quadrangles. A Design Manual of site treatments and a prototype project was produced.
