Green Zone and East Gate Renovation at the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY
A state-of-the-art composting facility, the Green Zone was designed together with the revitalization of the East Gate, a neglected pedestrian entry to the Garden to showcase NYBG’s commitment to sustainable horticultural practices. The result is a new and welcoming neighborhood gateway that features sustainability and natural processes.
Massachusetts Division of Fish & Wildlife Headquarters, Westborough, MA
An innovative and highly sustainable approach to site development celebrates the native New England landscape as a beautiful gateway to both the new LEED Platinum headquarters building and the 1000-acre Wildlife Management area in which it sits. The site design enhances the identity of the building, while showcasing site development practices that promote replenishing stormwater technologies, create habitat and teach about indigenous plants.
