Silliman College, Yale Residential College

The largest of Yale’s twelve residential colleges, uniquely features both Georgian and Gothic Revival architecture. T|G’s design of the associated landscape rejuvenation emphasizes this distinction with a more formal, symmetrical treatment in the Georgian quadrangle, while the upper, Gothic spaces are in the Romantic Landscape tradition of curving walkways, evergreen shrubs and weeping trees. Additionally, small gathering spaces and seating have been included in both to encourage socialization.
