Tyson’s II is a sub-unit of the Tyson’s Corner Urban Center in Fairfax County, Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. The master plan for this mixed use urban center includes office buildings, hotels and retail support services. Parking structures are clustered and buildings have been with the goal of providing public spaces unique in scale and character. The initial phase of construction includes a formal vehicular arrival court, a contemporary roof deck garden, and the centrally located major public open space for the entire urban center. Towers|Golde closely collaborated with the owner and architect to ensure that the building landscape were fully integrated.
