For the design of this early example of corporate commitment to sustainability, T|G was part of a team selected for its unusual site sensitivity.  T|G led the development of a strategy that featured the rugged terrain through the siting and design of buildings that ranged from one to four stories, extending downward to follow the existing grades as they fell away from the woodland of the central campus core.  This treatment of the 700-car garage configuration avoided at least 9 acres of potential land coverage.  Recycled materials were specified throughout, including the use of bricks containing recycled manganese dioxide from the company’s own battery production.
