The ambitious program for this state-of-the-art classroom building left little of the site area uncovered by building, but at the same time called for large outdoor social spaces.  The solution, reached in close collaboration between architect and landscape architect, was to create a unique roof-deck quadrangle for the business school students 30 feet above grade level.  Highly integrated with interior social spaces, this garden includes a lawn area used for large gatherings and summer executive programs, an outdoor dining area and a monumental pergola running the length of the terrace.
