served as landscape master planners and subsequently provided
advance designs for all the open spaces including a monumental
Central Plaza (11 acres), two adjacent parks (14 acres each),
and four intimate interior courtyards.
The plaza, a
roof-deck development above an underground parking garage, is
both forecourt to the center and public events space for the
entire city. It is flanked by arcades and by the Forests of the
Seasons, parklands that are composed of a tapestry of indigenous
plants arranged in waves for dramatic seasonal display,
punctuated by natural and artificial water features.
