The Watson Pavilion is the second and final phase of Greenwich Hospital’s Facilities Expansion Master Plan.  Involving the phased demolition of the oldest buildings on its existing campus, the 150,000 square foot, 160 bed addition has been sensitively located adjacent to a recently completed building and away from a main residential street corner.  An integral component of this project is the creation of a 1.6 acre garden, which is available for enjoyment of hospital patients, visitors, staff and the general public.  It includes a generous terrace adjacent to the new hospital cafe.  The garden has been master planned to accommodate a number of thematic sub-garden areas as donor opportunities arise.
